Abstract

This study proposes an intelligence-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy curriculum tailored for primary education. Grounded in the theory of AI thinking and intelligence-based AI literacy primary education framework, this curriculum employs a generative AI approach, and integrates six competencies into performative learning activities. The educational implication is that it empowers students with AI thinking as a new agent for critically creating, thinking, and evaluating AI outputs. This study contributes to a paradigm shift by introducing a performative pedagogy to teach AI literacy education. This innovative approach transforms the learning experience by allowing students to engage with AI through dialogic, arts-based activities and performative actions. The integration of generative AI not only democratizes AI literacy education but also provides students with a creative and dialogic learning environment.
