Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming health education through precision-driven learning, clinical simulations, and data-powered decision-making. However, its integration presents governance, regulatory gaps, data security risks, ethical concerns, and global disparities. Addressing these challenges is crucial for responsible AI adoption in medical training. By analysing case studies and best practices, this chapter serves as a strategic guide for educators, policymakers, and institutions to navigate AI governance challenges effectively. The goal is to foster ethical, inclusive, and standardized AI-driven health education for future-ready medical professionals. AI's impact on health education, focusing on governance issues such as the absence of standardized policies, bias, and data privacy concerns. It emphasizes the need for global cooperation to establish ethical guidelines and regulatory frameworks. The chapter also proposes actionable solutions, including policy recommendations, transparency measures, and international collaborations to ensure equitable AI access.
