Abstract

The rise in life expectancy has led to increased neurodegenerative diseases (NDDs) like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's, driven by inflammation, oxidative stress, and protein misfolding. Current treatments fail due to the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Nanotechnology offers a solution by enhancing drug delivery and stability. Nano-phytomedicine combines nanoparticles with plant-based compounds, improving efficacy. Metal-based nanoparticles also show promise, paving the way for precision-driven NDD treatments.
