Abstract

Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's are devastating neurodegenerative diseases posing major challenges to global health and economies. Current therapies often fail to halt progression, lack targeting, and provide limited efficacy. This chapter highlights innovations poised to transform ND care, including personalized medicine tailored to genetic, molecular, and environmental factors, enabling precise, low-dose treatments. Nanotechnology advances drug delivery, with nanoparticles loaded with secondary metabolites showing promising neuroprotective effects in preclinical and clinical studies. Natural products, particularly secondary metabolites, offer neuroprotection via antioxidation, anti-inflammation, and apoptosis modulation. Together, these strategies present a synergistic roadmap for ND therapy. While ethical, regulatory, and scalability challenges remain, this chapter envisions a future of transformative treatments, offering guidance for clinicians and researchers in revolutionizing ND management.
