Value Co-Creation and Artificial Intelligence
Abstract
This article examines the ethical challenges posed by the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence across various sectors. While AI brings significant benefits in terms of efficiency and innovation, it also raises serious concerns about bias, accountability, transparency, privacy, and human autonomy. The risk of perpetuating discrimination through biased data, the difficulty of assigning responsibility for harmful outcomes, and the lack of transparency in AI decision-making all contribute to growing ethical dilemmas. Additionally, AI-driven surveillance technologies threaten individual privacy, and the increasing reliance on AI may diminish human judgment in critical areas. The article argues that ethical considerations must be integrated into the development process from the beginning, advocating for regulatory oversight, interdisciplinary cooperation, and active public engagement to ensure AI technologies serve humanity in a fair and responsible manner.
