Abstract

This chapter proposes a comprehensive strategic framework for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into Vietnam's curriculum design to support sustainable digital transformation in higher education. Grounded in established learning theories and validated through a mixed‐methods pilot involving eight institutions and 680 participants, the study examines AI's impact on personalized learning pathways, real‐time analytics, and administrative efficiency. Quantitative findings reveal that AI‐supported cohorts achieved significant gains in average scores, pass rates, and LMS engagement, while qualitative insights highlight enhanced pedagogical flexibility and learner autonomy. Critical enablers include robust digital infrastructure, continuous professional development, and coherent policy frameworks. The chapter concludes by delineating implementation challenges—such as data security and workforce training—and offering targeted recommendations to guide future research and policymaking.
