Abstract

The integration of Educational Technology (EdTech) in Indian universities has the potential to democratize learning and bridge longstanding educational disparities. However, a significant gender divide persists, hindering equitable access and outcomes for female students. This chapter examines the multifaceted barriers contributing to this divide, including socio-cultural norms, economic constraints, infrastructural limitations, and digital literacy gaps. It further explores the implications of these challenges on women's participation and success in digital learning environments. Drawing upon recent studies and statistical data, the chapter highlights the urgency of addressing these disparities to foster an inclusive educational landscape.
