Abstract

This chapter presents the development and validation of an assessment instrument designed to evaluate cultural responsiveness in online learning environments. Grounded in culturally relevant pedagogy, Universal Design for Learning, Community of Inquiry, and social constructivism, the instrument addresses eight key areas of course design. A systematic literature review and expert panel validation informed the process, aiming to foster inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive online education.
