By leveraging personalization—ranging from app-based content to real-time feedback and data-driven customization—learners are increasingly empowered to direct their own progress, engaging with content that suits their pace, goals, and linguistic background. Drawing on both current research and real-world classroom applications, this chapter offers insights into the design and implementation of mobile-based personalized learning systems, while also examining their impact on learner motivation and autonomy. The discussion includes the practical and pedagogical implications of integrating mobile technologies in language education, highlighting both the promise and the complexities involved.
