Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important. As the healthcare field evolves and becomes more complex, nursing education must also transform to keep pace with this changing landscape. The integration of AI into nursing training represents a significant advancement in how healthcare professionals are educated, with the primary goal of improving teaching, learning, and critical thinking among students. Realistic AI-powered simulations give students the opportunity to practice clinical skills in safe virtual environments, increasing their confidence and preparing them for real-world professional situations. Furthermore, AI-supported learning can also foster the development of critical thinking, enhance clinical reasoning skills, and strengthen teamwork among nursing students. In conclusion, integrating AI into nursing education offers great opportunities to improve learning and prepare future nurses for the healthcare of tomorrow while encouraging responsible and innovative use of this technology.
