Abstract

The translation of environmental terms from French to Arabic poses significant challenges due to linguistic, cultural, and conceptual differences. These challenges are compounded by the complexity of environmental terminology, which often involves specialized vocabulary related to ecology, climate change, sustainability, and conservation. Common errors in translation include misinterpretations of technical terms. Artificial Intelligence offers a promising solution to these translation challenges. AI can also assist in creating more culturally relevant translations, ensuring that the environmental message is conveyed correctly across linguistic and cultural boundaries. This study explores how AI can improve the translation of environmental terms from French to Arabic, addressing both linguistic and cultural barriers. By applying AI in the translation process, it is possible to bridge gaps between languages and enhance cross-cultural communication on environmental issues, thus contributing to more effective global environmental discourse.
