Abstract

This study investigates the antecedents and consequences of customer trust in the context of quick commerce. More specifically, it examines how food authenticity and food safety influence consumer behaviour within dark kitchens. The study's objective is to provide valuable insights into the impact of these factors on purchasing decisions by analysing their role in building customer trust. A quantitative research study was undertaken involving consumers who frequently visit “The Dark Kitchen” in Soukra, Tunisia. The study employed a convenience sampling method, which allowed for the selection of participants based on their accessibility and willingness to participate. Data collection took place over a seven-day period, from January 5th to January 11th, 2025.The results derived from the AMOS analysis have provided empirical support for the research hypotheses formulated in this study. These findings serve to reinforce the theoretical framework and contribute to the validation of the proposed relationships within the context of Dark Kitchens.
