Abstract

Neuroeducation is an evolving field, with interdisciplinary nature, which combines the knowledge of the neuroscience with classroom practice as a way to improve instruction and learning. We consider in this chapter the ways in which neuroeducation can enhance cognitive development and neuroplasticity, the formation of memory, and the management of their emotions by connecting the teaching strategies to brain functioning. Based on a systematic literature review, we speak about the effect of neuroeducation on the student outcomes, the impact of artificial intelligence and neurofeedback in individualized learning, and the formation of adaptive, brain-based pedagogies. The evidence indicates that neuroeducation-based strategies arouse the metacognition process, increase the involvement of the learner as well as elevating academic performance. In addition, the collaboration of neuroeducation with sustainable educational efforts creates inclusive, personalized, and future-rooted environments that enables both educators and learners.
