Abstract

The chapter explores the role of technology in language education, highlighting its potential to create inclusive and multicultural classrooms. It highlights the shift from traditional methods to digital ones, offering opportunities for learners from diverse backgrounds. Digital learning resources, such as course materials, mobile applications, and text-to-speech software, promote inclusivity. The chapter also emphasizes the integration of multimedia materials into lessons to foster fluency. However, it acknowledges the digital divide and calls for adequate teacher training. Proposals include professional training, equal access to technological devices, blended teaching, gamification, and augmented and virtual reality. The chapter aims to equip educators with the necessary resources to effectively use technology in language education.
