Abstract

Transformative marketing (TM) presents an innovative pathway for driving gender equity within multinational enterprises (MNEs) and across global markets. While gender-based inequalities remain pervasive, the evolution of marketing strategies in response to societal demands for fairness and inclusion has opened new avenues for promoting gender equity through business practices. This chapter will explore how MNEs leverage transformative marketing to challenge gender norms, integrate inclusivity in their branding strategies, and engage consumers in meaningful social change. By examining the intersection of international business policies and marketing practices, the chapter will analyze case studies of companies successfully navigating the complexities of diverse regulatory environments and cultural contexts to create gender-inclusive campaigns.
