Abstract

The study investigates the manner of how self-regulation techniques, such as guided breathing and Orthodox spiritual prayer of the heart, can reduce academic anxiety in students. Using a four-stage experimental protocol and wearable devices that record physiological parameters such as heart rate variability, peripheral oxygen saturation and body movement, it was identified significant changes associated with stress and relaxation. Statistical analysis (ANOVA, t-tests, correlations between variables) and spectral analyses highlighted relevant variations in heart rate and heart–brain coherence indices. The research proposes a practical modee refl for monitoring and intervention, with potential application in educational programs for preventing burnout and improving students' psycho-physiological balance.
