Abstract

In today's digitally transformed and globally connected work environment, collaboration is essential for organizational success. This chapter examines how Large Language Models (LLMs) are reshaping collaborative practices by enabling intelligent, adaptive, and inclusive teamwork. It explores key LLM trends—such as multimodal communication, real-time multilingual translation, and context-aware digital assistants—that enhance cross-functional and inter-organizational collaboration. The chapter highlights practical applications in knowledge management, innovation, and strategic decision-making, while also addressing ethical challenges like bias, data privacy, and AI dependency. Emphasizing the need for human-AI teaming and leadership adaptation, it envisions a future where collaboration evolves into intelligent ecosystems, blending human creativity with machine intelligence for enhanced agility and value creation.
