Abstract

Digital Transformation has changed how companies manage customer relationships. Moving beyond transactions, organizations adopt strategies to prioritize relationships, driven by artificial intelligence (AI), big data, predictive analytics and Internet of Things. This chapter examines CRM4.0's emergence, AI's impact on market segmentation and importance of proactive, cross-cultural customer experience (CX). A case study on retail banks in the Philippines illustrate how digital transformation fosters personalized and inclusive CX, covering strategic recommendation to balance efficiency and empathy in a digital era that prioritizes human-centered tactics. AI-driven CRM systems changed customer engagement, allowing businesses to foresee needs and provide customized solutions real-time. The transition towards predictive and personalized interactions has increased customer satisfaction. As organizations navigate the digital era, the challenge remains in balancing technological progress and the human element, ensuring automation complements and not replace meaningful customer relationships.
