A Causal Evaluation Framework for Aligning Employee Experience With Organisational Resilience
Abstract
This chapter presents a causal-evaluative framework for aligning employee experience (EX) with organisational resilience using Fuzzy DEMATEL and MICMAC analysis. Drawing on Indian and global case studies, it examines six key drivers—leadership empathy, AI-enabled feedback, emotional well-being, learning agility, digital tools, and work-life balance. Findings reveal that psychologically safe, digitally empowered, and feedback-rich workplaces foster adaptability, engagement, and resilience. Leadership empathy emerged as a primary causal factor, while AI-driven feedback systems enhanced continuous learning and performance. Emotional well-being and learning agility acted as reinforcing variables, whereas work-life balance was shaped by leadership and digital practices. By integrating systems thinking and fuzzy logic, the study extends HR research beyond linear assessments, offering practitioners strategic clarity on leverage points for impactful interventions.
