Innovations Sustainable Management Practices and Future Perspectives in Forest Management
Abstract
With the severity of an environmental problem getting worse, the repercussions of a revolutionary nature and sustainable management forms are paramount on preservation and survival of forest eco systems. The modern abstract explores the emergence of technological solutions such as remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology to be able to offer a higher degree of monitoring and conservation actions. Sustainable management practices like the one carried out by the ecosystem, the use of local communities and worth of the ecosystem services like carbon sequestration and ecotourism emerge. Furthermore, the digitalization implemented (by transforming the Forestry 1.0 into 5.0) favors the introduction of data-driven decision on a new scale, and the establishment of sustainable markets of forest products, such as wood, cork, and medicinal plants, benefits the local economy. Future perspectives concentrate on the framework of administration and collaboration policies addressing the issue of climate variability, anthropogenic pressure alleviation, and maintenance of biodiversity.
