Abstract

This chapter provides a bibliometric review of research at the intersection of social media, influencer marketing, and sustainable fashion. Based on 184 documents retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection, the study examines three thematic blocks: digital platforms, sustainable and ethical fashion, and consumer behaviour. The analysis maps the field's evolution, identifies leading authors and institutions, and explores co-authorship and keyword networks. Results show increasing attention to the influence of digital platforms and online communities on consumer attitudes and sustainable consumption practices. Perceived authenticity, value alignment, and brand trust emerge as central to the relationship between influencer marketing and engagement with sustainable fashion. The chapter offers a systematic overview and proposes future research on the transformative role of digital platforms.
