Abstract

This chapter examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational leadership through hybrid school models that unite human and machine intelligence. It explores how AI-enhanced tools support data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and personalized learning, while human leaders provide empathy, ethics, and strategic vision. Grounded in sociotechnical systems theory and augmented intelligence, the chapter analyzes enabling infrastructures like adaptive learning platforms and AI dashboards. Drawing on global case studies, it highlights both benefits and challenges—such as algorithmic bias and digital equity—emphasizing the need for ethical governance, professional development, and stakeholder trust. Ultimately, it envisions a future where hybrid leadership models foster inclusive, responsive, and future-ready schools.
