Abstract

This chapter examines how inclusive instructional design, supported by digital pedagogies and active learning, transforms higher education. It argues that integrating frameworks like Universal Design for Learning (UDL) with flipped classrooms, simulations, and problem-based learning creates equitable, adaptive, and engaging environments. By prioritizing flexibility, personalization, and real-world relevance, these strategies empower diverse learners and reduce barriers to success, making inclusion a foundational principle rather than an afterthought.
