Abstract

The effects of the global climate crisis have necessitated radical transformations in economic policies. This study analyses the impact of green finance and blue economy concepts, which are shaped in line with sustainable development goals, on economic structures. While green finance encompasses financial instruments that reduce environmental risks and support sustainable projects, blue economy aims at the sustainable utilisation of marine and ocean resources for economic development. This chapter analyses the impacts of green financing mechanisms and blue economy models on economic development. It also discusses how artificial intelligence technologies support the green and blue economy in areas such as data analytics, resource management and climate risk prediction. In conclusion, the necessity of a holistic economic vision that adapts to the climate crisis and supports economic growth is emphasised. Developing green and blue economy-based strategies for policymakers is a critical step towards achieving sustainable development goals.
