Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and the hybrid work model changed the old style of work model by providing more job opportunities of remote work. This hybrid model is more flexible, increases employee's productivity, autonomy, and job satisfaction. This working model also raises opportunities for women and decreases the gender equality problem in organizations. The present study tries to understand the paradoxical role of AI and the hybrid work model system, shows how this integration increases gender equality, opportunities, and poses challenges for the hybrid model with the help of a gendered lens. It also helps to understand the importance of governance and AI in workforce development and management. It is found out that gender equality did not depend only on policy flexibility but is also depends on responsibility, ethical use of AI, and a good framework in workforce governance.
