Abstract

This chapter examines the role of mobility in advancing nursing education within an increasingly globalized world. It discusses how physical, virtual, and institutional mobility foster intercultural competence, professional development, and ethical awareness among nursing students and educators. While mobility enhances curriculum internationalization and global collaboration, persistent inequalities in access, funding, and accreditation limit its inclusivity. The chapter argues for sustainable and ethical mobility frameworks that balance individual growth with global health equity. Integrating flexible and reflective mobility experiences into nursing curricula is essential to prepare culturally competent nurses for a globally connected healthcare environment.
