Abstract

The pursuit of sustainable economic and regional development demands a shift from fragmented growth models toward integrated frameworks that balance environmental, social, and economic priorities. This paper proposes “Geo-Intelligence Synergies,” a novel conceptual GIS framework that redefines the role of geospatial technologies in shaping sustainable futures. Unlike traditional GIS applications confined to mapping and monitoring, this framework emphasizes the synergies of spatial intelligence, predictive analytics, and policy integration. It highlights how GIS can be conceptualized as a strategic enabler of inclusive growth, equitable resource distribution, and climate-resilient regional planning. The model integrates dimensions of economic vitality, ecological stewardship, and social equity, offering a systemic approach to long-term prosperity.
