Abstract

This chapter proposes a practical framework for using AI to advance educational equity and global fluency by integrating Culturally Responsive Pedagogy (CRP) with Intercultural Communication Competence (ICC). The document presents design principles which include inclusivity, contextual relevance, learner-centered personalization, reflective learning and ethics followed by four classroom integration models. The chapter examines some main systemic dangers which include algorithmic bias, teacher readiness gaps and the digital divide and governance/privacy issues while supporting human-centered design processes that bring together educators, students and community members. The study ends with a research plan that focuses on developing culturally sensitive models, tracking their long-term effects, creating successful human–AI partnerships and evaluating policy effectiveness to demonstrate how AI can establish inclusive learning environments based on cultural foundations instead of conventional standardized education systems.
