Abstract

Social Justice is an approach where every individual is supposed to have a basic set of rights, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, or anything that makes them different from other sets of people. On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence is the tool that thinks, analyses, and gives conclusions, which is free from biases that humans hold with themselves due to their personal reasons or their surroundings. But with this comes the concept of Algorithmic Biases, AI hallucinations, and other challenges, which might create the problem on another level. This research explores the nature and scope of Social Justice, why AI is required for Social Justice, what are the challenges with AI for Social Justice, how the European Union (EU) and Australia are contributing to maintain social justice in their territory with the help of Artificial intelligence, how world as a single unit can maintain social justice collectively and what guidelines are required to maintain check and balance between AI and social justice.
