Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the field of social work and to assess their impacts on professional practice. The research examines how AI can be integrated into various areas, including data analysis, decision support systems, risk assessment, and service planning. The use of AI in social work entails both opportunities and significant risks. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that technology implementation is grounded in ethical principles, respects human rights, and adopts a client-centered approach. The study offers recommendations for updating social work education, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing ethical regulations, and promoting client participation. In this context, the careful management of technological transformation aligned with the values of the social work profession will contribute to the creation of a fairer, more efficient, and sustainable system for both service providers and clients.
