Abstract

Artificial intelligence has become a revolution in the vibrant subject of environmental governance since it is helping develop new ways in which people can keep track of, control, and preserve common natural resources. AI in environmental governance employs machine learning and big-data analytics alongside predictive modelling to solve some of the complicated issues associated with climate change, the lack of the biosphere, and environmental pollution. A case in point, with the help of AI software, one can analyse big data based on satellite photos, Internet of Things, and environmental sensors to track deforestation in real-time, anticipate ecological issues, or manage resources optimally as part of conservation restrictions. This integration can be characterized by a greater level of efficiency and accuracy, and therefore, the policy makers could derive their decisions using data that cannot be obtained using the traditional methods.
