Abstract

Community enterprises make significant contributions to the social economy by providing innovative services, promoting economic growth, and creating future opportunities. This chapter examines the determinants affecting the sustainability of community enterprises and the social economy in Thailand. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 1,240 respondents via an online questionnaire and analyzed through binary regression using convenience sampling. Results reveal that age, gender, indebtedness, use of digital communication platforms, and overall readiness influence sustainability. Strengthened governmental and administrative support, along with corporate commitment to sustainable leadership and corporate social responsibility, are vital for long-term sustainability. This study extends the existing literature on factors influencing community enterprises and provides a framework for future research.
