Optimization and Control of Solar Energy System by Fuzzy Logic for Wireless Sensor Network
Abstract
The limited energy storage capacity of batteries in wireless sensor networks that is use for various different remote areas presents a significant constraint, limiting network lifespan. Energy harvesting (EH) systems offers a promising solution to overcome this limitation. While various energy sources exist, solar energy (clean and green energy) is widely utilized for energy harvesting due to its flexibility, maturity, and external power availability. The aim of this chapter is to extract effective solar energy from harvesting technology that uses solar energy with maximum power to give explanation for restricted cell life issue of wirelesssensor nodes. This research will provide enhanced and effective energy harvesting by solar method for wireless sensor nodes that combines maximum power point to track and approximate reasoning methods together. The research goal is to enhance the total overall efficiency of the harvesting methodology, which is dependent on types of solar panel, fuzzy based logic controls, and maximum power point tracking efficiency, among other aspects.
