Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the fashion industry represents a paradigm shift, transforming traditional operational tools into autonomous strategic actors. This study examines AI's capacity to enhance strategic agility, while highlighting the ethical risks and sector-specific challenges inherent in its deployment. The chapter conceptualizes ethical leadership as a mediating mechanism that ensures AI-enabled decisions align with social, environmental, and creative values, fostering transparency, accountability, and human-centered innovation. By exploring the interplay between AI autonomy, ethical governance, and strategic decision-making, this research provides original theoretical contributions to the literature on AI strategy and leadership in creative, labor-intensive industries. Implications for labor management, creative autonomy, sustainability, and organizational legitimacy are discussed, offering a framework for responsible AI adoption in fashion enterprises and laying the foundation for future empirical studies.
