Abstract

This chapter analyses the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a bridging tool between technology and culture through the lens of the design of Culturally Responsive Hybrid Pedagogy (CRHP). The integration of the four pillars of the CRHP framework, cultural awareness, pedagogical adaptivity, collaborative intelligence, and ethical integrity, is presented to keep hybrid education inclusive and human centred. Through the lens of global case studies and ethical principles, the chapter posits that the most valuable innovations come not from automation of processes but, from the ethically guided human and machine partnership where co-agency is possible. The chapter ends with the assertion that the future of education is dependent on the construction of intelligent bridges, or learning ecosystems, that can integrate multiple dimensions of diversity and creativity with technology to sustain a sense of belonging and shared understanding within a digitally connected society.
