Abstract

The shift toward sustainable industrial practices is increasingly vital as industries face rising environmental, economic, and societal pressures. This paper explores how Industry 6.0 technology can transform manufacturing by optimizing resource usage, minimizing waste, improving energy efficiency, and fostering circular economies. Additionally, the study includes a cost-benefit analysis to compare the short-term investment costs with long-term savings through increased efficiency and reduced environmental liabilities. It applies Triple Bottom Line framework, focusing on profit (economic pillar), people (social pillar), and planet (environmental pillar). The study uses case studies of Tesla and BMW and by assessing Industry 6.0's implications on these pillars, the paper depicts how sustainable industrial practices in domain of manufacturing can generate long-term profitability, environmental conservation, and social benefits. The main aim of the study is to examine manufacturing in Industry 6.0's technology environment in the context of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
