Abstract

Additional technologies commonly referred to as 3D and 4D printing, is emerging as a transformative technology in sustainable agriculture in the structure of the circular economy. Local of agricultural equipment, parts of equipment, and local, enabling production on demand, reduces AM waste, reduces carbon emissions and increases resource efficiency. This chapter explores how innovative AM technologies support clause-loop agricultural systems by reducing fake, customization and supply chain dependence. It also discusses the integration of renewable and bio-based materials in AM processes, promoting regenerative methods. Eventually, AM provides a scalable way to elastic, eco-efficient and circular agricultural value chains for the future.
