Abstract

This chapter examines the synergistic integration of Digital Twins and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase the performance of the building and promote sustainability in the built environment. Digital twins facilitate virtual representation of physical structures, real-time monitoring, dynamic simulation, and operational optimization of buildings. When Digital Twin is coupled with AI's advanced predictive analysis and decision-making abilities, these technologies enable precise management of energy consumption, resource allocation, and occupant comfort. The chapter outlines the ideological structure that outlines this integration, discovers recent technological progress, in sustainable architecture. This highlights how digital twins and AIs contribute to achieving net-zero carbon objectives, and promoting flexible urban ecosystems. Taking advantage of real-time data and future insight, digital twins and AI paved the way for smarter, sustainable urban development, aligned with global stability goals, and promoted long-term resilience to developing environmental demands.
