Abstract

The data of 12 districts and counties in Weifang from 2014 to 2023 show that the coordination degree of DE-NQP coupling increased from 0.28 to 0.53, and the economic optimization index increased by 5.2% with each increase of 0.1. Based on the panel data of 12 districts and counties in Weifang from 2014 to 2023, using the framework of entropy weight-coupling degree-XGBoost-SHAP, it is found that the coupling coordination degree of DE-NQP increases from 0.28 to 0.53, and the economic system optimization index increases by 5.2% with each increase of coordination degree of 0.1. Ecological benefits improved most significantly, and the coupling effect in counties with high digital infrastructure was 1.8 times that of low-infrastructure counties-validated by the Shouguang Demonstration Zone. This study provides a quantifiable and replicable technical reference for agricultural regional economic optimization, aligning with IJAEIS's focus on advanced engineering and systems applications.
