The Role of Patent Transfer in the Technology Transfer Network of Regional Urban Agglomerations
Abstract
In this article, the authors took the perspective of patent transfer to delve into the structural characteristics of technology transfer networks within regional city clusters. Their analysis revealed that patent transfer plays a pivotal role as a bridge and a link within the network, where both its quantity and quality directly affect the network's overall performance and efficiency. With respect to node analysis, distinct differences and hierarchies among nodes were observed. Internally, nodes within subnetworks are closely connected, whereas there exists a certain degree of isolation and differentiation among these subnetworks. Using case studies, the authors explored the specific impact of patent transfers on the structure of the technology transfer network. This research contributes to a better understanding of the inherent mechanisms and operational rules of technology transfer networks and provides valuable insights for optimizing technology transfer mechanisms and enhancing the innovation capabilities of city clusters.
