Abstract

This study explores decision-making in digital and creative design as a driver for knowledge management and heritage innovation. By integrating design thinking, digital tools, and collaborative processes, cultural heritage can be preserved, interpreted, and reimagined in ways that enhance accessibility and relevance. The study examines how digital design methods, such as visualization, simulation, and immersive media, support organizational knowledge creation, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and bridge traditional practices with modern innovation. It highlights frameworks for decision-making that strike a balance between authenticity and creativity, ensuring that cultural assets remain meaningful in the digital age. Findings suggest that embedding digital and creative practices within knowledge management processes not only strengthens heritage sustainability but also enriches innovation ecosystems. This approach positions heritage as a dynamic resource, where knowledge sharing and digital transformation intersect to generate new cultural, social, and economic value.
