Design and Implementation of an Interactive Teaching Platform Based on VR Technology
Abstract
This case study explores the development of a virtual reality (VR)-based interactive teaching platform to address limitations of traditional teaching methods and challenges in current VR applications, such as insufficient interactivity and content homogenization. By integrating constructivist learning and multimodal interaction theories, the study designs a platform incorporating key technologies like gesture recognition. Using the “design-development-verification” method, the platform's effectiveness was validated. Empirical research with 200 participants showed significant improvements in spatial cognition and operational skills compared to traditional methods, and correlations between telepresence, cognitive load, and interactive behavior were explored. This study provides practical insights and theoretical advancements, highlighting VR's potential to enhance educational outcomes.
