Abstract

Fibroepithelial polyps (FEPs) are rare benign tumors that typically occur in skin folds but are infrequently found on the nipple. The 19-year-old female patient in this case study had a pedunculated growth on her right nipple for 1 month. On examination, it showed a cauliflower-shaped lesion measuring 0.5 cm × 0.4 cm × 0.8 cm. Electrosurgery was used to remove the growth. Histopathology confirmed FEP, showing mildly hyperkeratotic stratified squamous epithelium with underlying fibrocollagenous tissue and dilated blood vessels. This case highlights the need for early surgical intervention to prevent complications and differentiate FEPs from other nipple growth.
