Abstract

The CODE V and Zemax macros can be used to verify the correctness of the formulas derived in the paper"F. Bociort, Primary aberrations of thin lenses in contact"More details can be found as comments in the two macros. The test lens for CODE V includes aspheric surfaces. The lens for Zemax has only spherical surfaces, otherwise the two lenses are essentially the same. The two outputs show that the new formulas give for the test lenses the same result as the corresponding programs.
