Therapeutic Care Packages
Abstract
Some therapeutic activities may rely on the use of physical materials that clients do not have access to or that may be difficult for clients to acquire. If you plan to conduct assessments or interventions that require specific materials, consider mailing a “therapeutic care package” to clients at the onset of therapy. This may be particularly helpful for clients who are not able to afford additional materials. Even if clients have the financial resources to purchase required materials, therapeutic care packages may serve as an engaging way to welcome new clients to your teletherapy practice.
