Abstract

Children and adolescents often need help identifying and naming the varied emotions that they experience. Feelings charts are used in therapy to aid with this task. This chapter provides instructions for collaboratively creating customized feelings charts by asking clients to make faces to convey different emotions and taking screenshots via teletherapy. Completed feelings charts can then be printed and used outside of therapy to help express feelings with other members of the client’s system.
