Abstract

In-person therapy with children and adolescents typically relies on the use of a wide range of toys and/or art supplies to support the therapeutic process. Though online therapists are inhibited from physically sharing objects that are present within their office, teletherapy doesn’t need to be devoid of playful materials. Teletherapy with children and adolescents may include materials that are (1) acquired from objects present within the clients’ physical location, (2) physically located in the therapist’s office, and (3) digital in form. This chapter provides ideas of each of these forms of materials for use in teletherapy assessment and intervention.
