Abstract

This chapter draws together the key themes emerging from the discussions in the preceding chapters, which have sought to explore the opportunities and challenges around integrated working in early childhood in a range of specific areas of practice. It considers the potential ways forward and the enduring challenges in the context of recent policy and legislative reforms and the changing dynamics of public service delivery. It makes recommendations for improving policy and practice in order to maximise the potential value of integrated working for children and their families.
