Abstract

In this chapter, the authors guide the reader on a walk through elements they recognise as key to practising within the outdoors. They argue that taking supervision outdoors is the action method per se. As supervisor and supervisee find themselves immersed in the natural environment, the supervisor takes on a particularly orienteering and grounding role, both in relation to the environment and in relation to the task of supervision.
