Abstract

Islamic thought has long emphasized that religious commitment is not limited to private spirituality or ritual practice. Rather, it extends to the ethical organization of society, including structures of law and governance inspired by the teachings of the Qur’an and the Prophet. At the heart of this vision is the idea that political leadership should aim to realize justice through social cooperation and mutual responsibility. Politics, therefore, is not a secondary concern within the Islamic tradition; it is an essential component of a comprehensive moral and legal framework.
